Donating to the earthquake relief efforts in Nepal

Doctors Without Borders is sending medical and logistical staff to Nepal, as well as providing 3,000 medical kits.
Supporting co-operatives in times of need
Difficult events call on credit unions to come together in co-operative spirit to support and assist in immediate relief and re-building efforts. Vancity is donating $10,000 to each of two Nepal earthquake relief campaigns:
Co-operative Development Foundation
The Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada (CDF) is appealing to Canadian co-operators for donations to assist members of Nepal's co-operatives and credit unions affected by the devastating earthquake.
World Council of Credit Unions
The World Council of Credit Unions is communicating with Nepal’s credit union system, Nepal Federation of Savings & Credit Cooperative Unions (NEFSCUN) and the Association of Asian Confederation Credit Unions (ACCU) to activate a fundraising campaign that will bring much needed relief to the Nepalese Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOs), otherwise known as credit unions, staff and members.
