Vancity announces two appointments to Executive Leadership Team
August 2, 2011 (Vancouver, BC) — Vancity announced two appointments to its Executive Leadership Team today with Paula Martin appointed Advisor to Vancity CEO Tamara Vrooman and Linda Morris appointed Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Paula Martin has been with Vancity for 11 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of Member Engagement overseeing Marketing, Communications, and Digital and Community Engagement. In her new role as Advisor to the CEO, Paula is accountable for building Vancity's relationship with the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, an international and independent network of banks and banking cooperatives using finance to deliver sustainable development for people, communities and the environment. Paula will play a key role in developing Vancity's involvement and commitment to social purpose banking among the business and community sectors.
Linda Morris is a well known and respected senior professional in the communications and marketing field. She is a seasoned leader with close to 20 years of executive experience in five diverse organizations and business sectors including her tenure as CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon and as the Deputy Minister in the Public Affairs Bureau for the Government of BC, Vice President, Communications & Community Engagement for Vancouver Coastal Health and Director of Public Affairs for the Vancouver Port Authority.
