Vancity donates thousands of dollars raised through its Holiday eCards

Thousands of holiday greetings sent through Vancity Holiday eCards in 2010 are still delivering smiles today. That’s because for each of the 4004 eCards sent, Vancity is donating money to the community.

We’d promised that every time you sent a Vancity Holiday eCard, we would donate $1 to one of three Vancity Community Foundation focus areas: Enterprising Nonprofits, Affordable Housing and Homelessness, and Food Systems and the Environment. Well, we’ve changed our minds; we’ve increased that amount to $2 per eCard!

You had other means of sending your holiday wishes, but thanks to your choice of carbon-friendly Vancity Holiday eCards, you’ve helped raise $8008 for social enterprises that need it. This money will be disbursed as follows:
