Juvarya Veltkamp stepping down from Vancity Board of Directors

Vancity announced today that Juvarya Veltkamp will be stepping down from her role as an elected member of Vancity’s Board of Directors, effective April 3, 2022. She was elected to the Vancity board in April 2021 for a three-year term. Juvarya will be taking up a new role as Chief of Strategy and Operations for InBC.

Anita Braha, Chair of the Board commented: “On behalf of the entire Board, we thank Juvarya for her valuable perspective and incredible commitment to Vancity in the past year.”

Vancity’s membership will have the opportunity to vote for four Directors in the upcoming election, running from April 4 to April 22. Three of the elected candidates will serve a three-year term and the candidate who places fourth will be elected for a two-year term to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Juvarya.
