Vancity Announces 2001 Board of Directors Election Results
Vancouver, April 6, 2001 - Vancouver City Savings Credit Union (Vancity) announced the official results of the 2001 Board of Directors Election today. Voter participation was more than double last year with 12,322 valid ballots cast, and a total of 33,820 votes cast.
Nine candidates ran for three Directors' positions. Re-elected for a three-year term were:
Greg McDade - 6,566 votes
Reva Dexter - 5,384 votes
Bruce Ralston - 4,586 votes
Other candidate results include:
Rhonda J. Zabinsky - 3,845 votes
David C.Walker - 3,357 votes
Pamela Liedl - 3,269 votes
Edward Rogers - 3,153 votes
Ian Rapaport - 2,028 votes
Babu Bansal - 1,632 votes
