Vancity supports the Vancity Humanitarian and Climate Fund which gets mobilized in the event of disaster or crisis. We invite members of our communities to contribute too.
There are 3 easy ways to donate online:
Make a donation from a credit card.
Anyone with a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit card can make a donation through our donation form.
Make a donation through online banking.
Vancity members can make a donation through online banking. To do so, simply log in to online banking on desktop, select the “VCF Donation Form” from the “Pay Bills” menu on the left side of the screen, then select “Vancity Humanitarian & Climate Fund” from the dropdown menu.
Make a donation using Vancity Rewards points.
Simply log in to Vancity Rewards, select “Charity” from the menu on the right side of the screen, then select the “Donate now” button. On the next screen, choose how many points you’d like to donate, then select “Vancity Humanitarian & Climate Fund” from the top of the dropdown menu. Vancity credit card cardholders can donate as little as 2,000 points from their My Vancity Rewards Account.
Donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt. Online donations made through the Vancity Humanitarian and Climate Fund by credit card will receive a tax receipt immediately by email. For all other donations, tax receipts will be sent by mail or email with-in 3 to 6 weeks.
